Rapid growth in customer demand, drove Excel to build a large, purpose built factory and warehouse in Coventry in 1990,
which had to be further extended in 1998 due to the continuous expansion Excel is experiencing.
Today Excel operates from a new purpose built factory located in Coventry; the engineering heartland of the UK. It boasts a fully equipped manufacturing and assembly workshop staffed by skilled engineers and technicians.
A part of the site is set aside as a working machine demonstration area. This has proved very popular with the customers who want the opportunity to test which machine best suits their application.
By far and away the largest area of the factory is the main warehouse. This contains an impressive stock of standard and special machines ready for immediately delivery. Many are awaiting modification to the customer's specification.
This extensive stock enables Excel to deliver a level of customer service that is the envy of our competitors. It enables Excel to respond quickly to each and every enquiry, irrespective of its size of complexity.
Fast delivery times are achieved not just for standard machines, but also for CNC.
